About Bayview S.O.L.

Bayview S.O.L. is a nonprofit organization committed to improving maternal health outcomes for women of color by providing access to high-quality, culturally sensitive birthing services. Our organization strives to create a healing space where women can feel valued, supported, and empowered throughout the birthing process.

The acronym 'S.O.L.' stands for 'Sustaining Our Lives' and the word ‘sol’ in Spanish translates to ‘sun’, which is the star that creates life. With Bayview S.O.L., we nourish one another so that we may flourish for generations to come.  Just like the sun in the San Francisco horizon, Bayview S.O.L. shines warmth and joy among our communities.
